from Texas and I need to find a flying field nearby....preferably heli-friendly. I am living in Medford right now, so I need to find some fields. If anyone can help, please give me some details.

You should be able to find local hobby shops in the yellow pages ... they would be a good source of information...
good luck!

happy flying!

Look for Alex;s RC Hobbies in Belmont. He can tell you where they fly.

I just went and checked out a field on the NH/MA border on Memorial Day. Beautiful field, nice people, and I got to fly with a fellow RR member (Mardy). I personally had a great time, and I'm thinking about joining, the only thing that's keeping me is the drive, which is a little over an hour for me, and I'm not sure how often I'd go. It's about 30 minutes north of Boston on 95, definitely worth checking out.

Do a search on here for fields near Boston, or see if you can get a hold of Mardy. I'll vouch for him and the field. I had a great time, even my wife enjoyed going!

Welcome to New England!!

There's a decent field in North Billerica on Trebble Cove road. Take Rt3 North to exit 27(?), go right off the exit about 3/4 mile. It's right across the street from the state pen.

There are many more clubs in the area, that's just the closest one to Medford that I know of.

There's also the club in Amesbury that eurylokhos mentioned. Nice place and nice bunch of people. http://www.nrcmc.org/

And then there's always the Lazy Loopers in Wrentham. http://llfc.cddigitaldesign.com/

Hope this helps.

Ya think so............

If the food does run out, I still have 4 cases of fuel I could sell to get enough money together so the rest of the pilots (including me) could eat.
