Just putting the finishing touches on a chopper and want to get some V-blades for it but don't know what size to go.

Specs are Tempest 3D 8.36 with YS91. Looking at the 690, 700 and 710 blades and want something that wont bog easily but with lots of 'punch'. So probably the 690's or 700's; think the 710's will be a bit too big -- though it will swing TT710's fine on ohter ratios.

Anyone who has flown a tempest with Vblades chime in -- what blades do you recomend.

690's seem to be the way to go. I don't think v-blades makes a 700 size. 700 mah's work real well also.

690's

I have been running 690's on my Tempests. Work well due to the larger spacing between the blade bolts on the Tempest heads.

I tried both 710's and 690's on my Fury Tempest . For doing the big air smooth style of flying. The 710 v-blades were great. But when getting into quicker extreme flying I liked the 690's better. I also noticed running less pitch on the 710's helped.
