My tail servo 9253 just died, I have 8700 spare servo. When I conect it to my gyro GY502 it goes to limit while initialization the gyro. Is anyone using this combo? Can I run the JR8700 in super servo mode of gy502? I know that the rate is different, but I do not want to find out the hard way (crash)

Many thanks Renda

I run an 8700G with a 401. I have to wait until the gyro is initialized before plugging the servo in each time though. The JR servo will go hard over during initialization.

Andrew, the servo plug was never intended to be a switch. You will find contact issues in time. The 8700/401 is not recommended..
