Hello,

Please could you tell me how to joint the sps-9400 and the charger Camaleon 6-636 ? I have the kit connector (bought at flightpower) but i think it is to use betwen the charger and the batteries (Lipoly 10s4p). Can i joint the sps9400 and charger with the input cable of the charger to the output of the sps9400 (big crocodiles)?

Thank you

Hi,

The quick fix is to unscrew the red and black plastic insulators on the Maas SPS-9400 all the way, and then attach the Shulze 636 crocodile clips over the top of the plastic parts and onto the shaft of the outputs.

Put something between the crocodile clips to prevent them being pulled into eachother.

Hi Julian,

Thank you for your answer. Nearly i will prove the Lipoly batteries, charger 6-630 an maass-9400 I bought at flightpower... Very good and fast service.

Just a question... At the end of your e-mail you wrote "see my ad at RR electric"... What does it means?

Regards

I cut the wires on the ILS 636+ and soldered 4 mm quality gold-plated connectors to the ends. Now it's plug'n'charge.
This is also mentioned in the (german) manual as the only recommended substitute (dunno whether this found it's way into the translation ...)

I then solder the counterparts to those connectors to the remaining wire of the crocos, so I can use the charger outdoors again.

I wouldn't try and connect the crocos as mentioned, they're too big and too close together imo, if they ever got short you'd probably fry both units big time (the sps9400 delivers 40 A continuous!).

Just my solution, my opinion
