I have a Futaba 7CHP PCM for my Evo 30. How many flights should I get out of a charge?

I have a voltage meter, so I am watching it closely. It seems like I'm good for maybe 3 flights. This seems low. I'm using the stock slow charger.

I have a gyro (GY401) and a Co-Pilot, and I'm running S3151 servos.

The battery that I have is the stock one - 9.6 volt Ni-Cd. Should I change it?

Also, can anyone recommend a good quick charger for this battery? And, how do I cycle it down? Other than just letting it run dead. Thanks!

What's the capacity of the battery? Reckon on about 300mAh per flight, very rougly.

Battery is listed as a 9.6v 1000mAh Ni-Cd (NT85600B).

Thanx!

Maller,

It's been my experience that you're wasting your time checking the transmitter pack, it's the receiver pack that you need to keep an eye on.

I'm flying a 1400mah receiver pack, I go two flights and then recharge. I'll be swapping it out for a Duralite setup soon, two flights between charges is getting a bit old.
