Along with the heli, I have bought the Protech Electronics pack.
I am not sure if the Battery supplied is Li-Po or Li-Ion, and there is no sign of what capacity it is.
Does anyone know, before I start to charge.
What rate are you all charging the cells at?

Thanks

How can you fill a 1,4 Ah Lipo with 1A in a half hour????
Then you have charged 500 mA

depends on how much you take out of it in the first place

I charge mine on a Mercury at 1.4A and that makes it charge at 1400mAh but it usually takes more than an hour to get it full - I think I might've been taking a little too much out?

The instruction sheet states that it's 1.4 Li Ion pack.

That's normal. The charger can’t charge the last 15-10% at the full 1,4A.
So to fill a empty 1,4Ah pack with 1C takes about 1.5 hour.

Peter

Its usually printed on the pack, you need to know this info so take it back or contact the seller if you dont have it.

you set your charger to the cell count & c rating,
i.e. 4 cell x 1500mah battery charged at 3 cell x 1. 5amp
