I want to buy an ION from miniature aircraft, they come with motor and speed ctlr.

Apart from batteries, what else would i need to get me up and running doing hard 3d manouvers?

What size of blades would this heli use?

Can i charge my batteries with the triton charger?

How long would a flight will the heli give me with the thunder power recommended and sold batteries?

What parts should i get for crashes?

THANX

I can tell you the Triton would be totally inadequate for charging the batteries. It only does 4s and you need a charger that will do 10s. You need something like an Orbit Microlader Pro for that. In fact, you might want to get two so you can charge both independantly without worrying about their state of balance.

I own a Joker and it also uses 10s lipos, but it is really two 5s packs connected in series to make 10s. One charger will do fine, just check the voltage with a voltmeter. The built in voltmeter the chargers use aren't always accurate. This heli can use 680mm to 710mm blades. Jason Krause flew about 12 minutes of hard 3D. As for what parts to get in case of a crash, I can't help you there, I am still just perfecting my hovering skills. You might want to check out the Ion forum on this site. Check, also, the Miniature Aircraft website for more information. There is a brochure you can download.
