The blue is sweet! But I'm a sucker for anodized colors on aluminum......

both...the blue can go with the silver carbon patter and the aluminum can go with the black....mix and match!

It looks like its for the stock style collective setup for servos...is there any way to go with the 120 degree placement of the servos?

Are you asking which colour, because you’re trying to decide which colour you will sell or is it just for your own personal use?

If it's to sell, then why not make both available and give your buyer the choice.

But personally I like the blue anodize with black carbon myself.

Cheers, Hayden.

does this in anyway improve the flight performance?

is this just a nice show piece?

No alternative, the posts can slide by approx 5mm to accomodate different servos but the position is fixed.

I think that position of servo doesn't make such a difference as long as the servo horn is square with the connecting rod.

servo position

I agree with Hifreq,

It looks like the servos are in the same position as they are on the stock hornet 2. This position works very well for me on my hornet 2.
there is not one drawback that I can think of... plus you could probable make your own slots and mounting holes for those alloy mounts yourself and place the servos anywhere you want if you so desired.

I think they are fine where they are, and am going to order a frame kit today. actually right now !!! woweee my hornet is going to be awesome !!!
