6102

I have a 6102pcm version and have been really happy with it. But its my first radio so I don't have anything to compare it to. The only thing I would say after the buying it are...

-try to get the one that comes with the digital servos, mine didn't so I'll probably have to upgrade.
-It only has one idle up (it's called sport in the instructions). It has a normal mode, stunt mode, and throttle hold mode. Also the throttle cut button only works in the normal mode.
-Make sure to change out the lever on the throttle to the smooth piece so you don't have the ratchet feel on your throttle.
-It won't be able to handle a governor, not a big deal I figure by the time I'm ready for a governor I'll be ready for a 8chnl or 10chnl radio anyway.
-The batteries are only good for around 4 maybe 5 flights before recharging. Thats with me using standard servos I've heard digitals use more juice. My transmitter all ways seems to run out before my flight pack also.

For the price (I paid 269 for mine) I think its a great radio.

I think a couple corrections to helibirds post are in order.
I believe that if you buy the heli version of the 6102 it should come with the smooth throttle installed.
Althought he is kinda of correct in saying that it wouldn't handle a governor that will depend on which gyro you are using . If you are using a Futaba GY240 then you will have the extra channel to use the remote functions of a govenor. If you use the sixth channel for you gyro then you can still use a governor such as the TJ pro as it has a manual pot on the governor so you don't need the extra channel.
