Nice start. You need to work on the proportions. It looks a little to large/heavy.

I know what you mean, it does look a little out of proportion but believe it or not is is only 2g heavier than the standard item. Weighing in at a mere 16g

I was referring to them looking heavy visually. They do look to be of thin material.

I thought that's what you meant, I was just showing-off with the weight thing the struts are made from .75mm glass fibre laminate and then sprayed. Before I painted them I could compress them all the way down and they would spring back into shape

It is Photoshop work, I just wanted to see how a canopy like this would look like "in scale".

Since I really love the 3DNT, this is what I am going to make for my self...hehe.

It certainly works TV... There used to be a Hiem body called the AvantGarde which was similar and very popular in europe. It was a bit longer and sleeker perhaps you could stretch your design a little to make it even more dynamic looking?

Twin Squirrel, I´ll have a go at finding a pic of the "AvantGuarde" on the net to see what you mean, was it a long time ago?

You are absolutly right, it needs to "slim down"! Otherwise it will look like a pin in a football..hehe

The only pic I can find on the net looks nothing like the Avantgarde I remember so either my memory is wrong or something else is happening..... I can see it becoming a mission to find those pictures to prove myself right!!

Ok so I'm kind of, almost, nearly half right... You get the idea from this pic although I remember it as being a very sleek machine which I suppose it was at the time. This pic is from a 1988 edition of radio helicpter international!!
