I have a HB V2 with seperates...
Gold 310 motor
GY240
ICS50 for the tail
ICS100 for the main
DD Tail Motor
Currently use 600 mAh Seed Packs

I want to put my brushless P10 and MS Composites Motor in the HB and use my LiPolys 3s 1200 Etechs with this setup.

Can I use either of the two brushed controllers for the DD tail...which would you recommend, and will the change to the LiPolys burn out tail motors more quickly. If neither of these controllers can be used for the tail what would you recommend instead.

You should be able to use either, but I'd try the 100 first. Make sure you disable the tail ESC's BEC (yank the positive (red) pin on the RX connector) because a 3s pack could burn it out.

Yes, tail motor life will be reduced, but tail authority will be much better.

I've used an ICS-100 on my HB v2's tail and a Pixie 7p on my CP HB's tail, both with excellent results. If you can't get decent holding out of the 100, I'd reccomend the pixie 7p (or trec if you want the best). The 7p has more throttle steps, so tail resolution should be better, but if the 100 works fine, no sense spending more.

Thxs Bro,

I was hoping you would respond with your usual informative response...much appreciated
One quick question though, yank the red wire from the tail esc to the gyro or the gyro connection to the Rx or doesn't it matter ?

Look up a post done by MADGUNS. Its a simple setup which allows the Hboard to be the tail ESC, saves you from spending money on another when you have one in front of you.
I am using it on mine and the little feller flies like a champ!

Doesn't matter which one you yank, but I'd go with the ESC one (I did mine that way).
