I finally got my new ship in the air monday, for the most part it flew great
The only complaint I have is -- If I punch up the collective then quickly reduce it then bring it back up to catch the ship the engine takes quite a while to come up to power, heres the equip. list, tell me what you think. O.S.91 C-Spec,M.P.2,Kline reg.,GV-1.
Both needles are about 11/2 turns out, head temp 209 deg. f.
I should mention that this bog continues for up to 10 seconds but there is enough power to keep the ship in the air!
Thanks in advance Mike

I'd say your GV-1 is not set up properly. Sounds like it's currently set to turn off based on switch position.

Check your settings to ensure that it stays on no matter what the stick position, in Idle 1/2.

smae problem

I have the same problem on my EVO 50 with OS 50, GV-1 and zimmerman muffler . The engine takes quite a while bring the rpm up after a vertcial drop.

I will be doing more investigation on this soon to make sure its contributed by GV-1.

But are there any obvious things to look at?

Engine Bogs

Well !! Seems the midrange and idle mixture were way too rich, now that it's breaking in and I'm leaning it out a little things are much better!
Thanks Mike
