MVRCC once again will be hosting a Heli Fun Fly. Our club is between Dayton and Cincinnati (Lebanon, Ohio). Landing fee is $5.00. Food and drink are available. Come early and fly late. Our field is one of the best in the midwest. Great club house and large open area to fly over. Check out our new web site at MVRCC.org.

Directions: (from the North) Take I -75 south to Route 122 east, at route 741, turn right (heading south). MVRCC is around 4 miles on the left side. Just look for the entrance by an old grain silo and large tree.

(South): I-75 north to Route 63 east. North on 741 through Otterbein. After sharp right turn in the road, MVRCC will be on the right by the old grain silo and large tree.

We envite all skill levels to attend. We will have some nice prizes and are expecting about 40 pilots. Email Tim Herr (event director) at herrt@nsk-corp.com

Sweet field - is that a paved runway??? We are also having one the following weekend.

Central Ohio Fun Fly

Maybe we can visit yours and you can come to ours. See lots of pics from last year in my gallery.

We have some pizza box combat at our club too. Looks like you guys have a few combat meets.

Mike,

Yes it is a paved runway. Not that us Chopper Heads need a stinking runway (ok, I'll admit it, I have a few planks too).

I'm guessing we have a few hundred acers to fly over, a special hover area , club house that is 24' by 32' with electric. And the club house has a 16' porch around two sides of the building.

As far a combat, that is not my thing. I think there is an email address for the combat director and he may be able to arange for a joint get together. Our combat planes use up to a 50 size motor and vary in materials used.

Hope to see you on July 10th.

For you Georg, I'll buy lunch.

See you Saturday. Looks like the weather will be good. It's about time!

Since I'm buying you lunch, I'm sure you will let me use one of your Raptors to try a death spiral, right!

Havoc,

I'm glad to hear that some pilots from the great state of KY will be coming up. For now, I am planning the event for Saturday only. If a few pilots wanted to fly on Sunday, I may be able to arrange it. However, I would expect the field to have a few more plankers than normal due to the field being closed on Saturday. If it's just a few, I could have you fly as a gest of a few people I know. After set up on Friday and flying on Saturday, I don't plan on being there on Sunday.

I going to be a great event with up to 40 pilots attending. Should have everything from 3D to some nice scale ships.

See you there!

Tim,
Looks like this is shaping up to be a great funfly. Let me know if you need me to serve as a sponsor on Sunday. I'll have to get pre-approval from the wife.

Jeremy,

The event is on Saturday and we will need all the club heli members to come on out and participate (fly). Some of the plankers will come out to help like last year. See you there. Try and get Anthony to come out also.

This is shaping up to be a very well attended event.
