Hi all.

I have recently installed a Futaba GV-1 governor on my Freya X-spec. I'm using a Futaba 9Z radio and my setting is one on/off switch to activate the governor and other 3 position switch to set the rotor revs.

My question is: how do I cut the throtle flipping only one switch?

I want to make autorotations and I have to move one switch to turn off the governor and then flip the throtle cut.

My real concern is in case of failure of the tail I'll have to make 2 switch movements instead of one to cut the throtle and we know that on a tail situation your bain blocks very easy.

Thanks.

the governor disengages when you flip the throttle hold switch.

Turn StSw on the GV1 on.

Now, as long as the throttle hold throttle setting
is below the GV1's 20% threshold, it'll turn
off by itself.

You can see it happen in the SwCD screen
