I've seen the pic from the vendor, but has anyone had any experience yet building one up? I'd sure like to see some pictures beyond the grany ones on the mfrs website. I'd also like to know how it all went together.

I recently bought a secondhand eolo which included the cobra body new and unused. I thought the quality was so poor I simply placed the whole thing in the bin.

Wow Martin ?

Are you talking about the Darth ones ? I always thought they looked good although have never seen one. The ones he does for the Corona are very popular.

Wish you had sent it to me

Jerry

Darth stuff "is very" Decent !! for the $

the Darth Cobra is a decent kit for 50+ $$$ it is what it is for the $$$..,.it is vacformed plastic it is not a super high quality fiber glass fuse kit but it is well worth the $$ and can be made to look really really GREAT... I've seen a eolo cobra flying around and it looked very scale and it looked really mean looking with rockets and guns mounted on it !!! ...there are some nice pics on darths site and rchover
http://www.rchover.com/inc/pdetail?v=1&pid=118 ....Darth does some decent fuses for the corona, hornet, eolo etc etc.... he even has come out with some low cost canopes for the Eolo and we will custom paint his canopies High visability neon colors by request..

Jeremy

Only one pic comes up on your site, the others appear empty (to me at least). I was hoping to see some more detailed pics of completed cobras and perhaps a pic of the kit contents. Given the number of eolos out there, I'd say some good fuse kits would sell as fast as you can make them.

Also, given that the eolo has a lot more power, I was hoping the kits would be more like lexan 2-pc canopy shells (thicker, stiffer, stronger, transparent), than the standard hummingbird style paper thin fuses. Once the plug is made, I would think a thicker material could be used ending up in a more substantial body as far as strength.

If nothing comes up, maybe it is time for me to try my hand at making a cool design plug and take it to someone who can vacuum form some nice shells, a miniature Futura Nova fuse comes to mind right off.

Let me know if the cobra fuse kit is any stiffer than the micro kits. I think with all the power of the eolo, the paper thin stuff might be a little light?

Hey Stet, A mini Futura Nova would be awesome!! I dont care much for the Darth canopy's myself, but would agree that for the money they are probably ok.
