I was just wondering if there were any 6-volt battery monitors for on-board use..

I like the LED type battery monitor that shows the battery charge (well approximate charge) on the bar scale... I have a VoltWatch and another one like the Maveric type..

I was wondering if there was one produced to monitor a 6V battery pack..

Thanks.

I have a weston one that automatically detects the voltage when you turn it on and flashes the led's to indicate how many cells you have before giving you a reading. Very good, works well. Also at the end of the flight it flashes an led to indicate what the lowest voltage was that was recorded during the flight.

Thanks guys..

I'll go and search for products... I checked and HP only had one but there was no picture or description...

I had not even seen much information on here about monitoring a 6V battery pack...

Thanks again for the feedback..

I have decided to go with this:
http://www.futaba-rc.com/radioaccys/futm4165.html

as my solution.

It may not be on-board, but I can check all my 4.8v packs, my 6v pack (btw, I'm trying it in a plank first) and test them under a load...

Sorry, I did not make it 'clicky'.. I tried to just post the picture, but gave up...

Any Way, one of the guys at the field has this unit and it seems to work great.. I was talking to him about battery monitoring and he reminded me about this Futaba battery checker...
