I have a 10t pinion and I have a Hacker 18L and the pinion is too small to fit. This is the second pinion I've received from the dealer that is the wrong size. Can I just drill the d*** thing with a 2.38mm drill bit?

I don't see why not. Someone in the hummingbird forum did this successfully if I remember correctly.

well i wasn't so lucky. The pinion broke into 3 pieces. Now i have to order another one. Gonna cost me nearly 7 dollars for a freakin pinion.

Anyone got a 2.3mm 10t pinion they want to donate to the "Help Mikel get his piccolo flying fund"?
