After a crash, I can't get the nearings removed from the main blade grip on my Freya. Anone any ideas?

the bearing inner races are 8mm.

the metal insert (that you will NEVER get out)
is 10mm. You need to find a socket or something
that is 10mm or less (but not less than 9mm).
This way, it'll slide through the insert but catch
the bearing inner race.

put the grip on a stand of some sort that can hold
the grip while letting the bearings drop out from
the back. Heat up the grips a bit and WHACK
them w/ the socket inserted from the front and the bearings should start
moving out.

most people just buy new grips w/ bearings
already installed.

For re-insertion, you'll need a socket or press
to get the new bearings in w/o damage, exactly
16mm
