hello gentlemen,

after running r30 v2 f/ 75-80 total hours, thorough inspection of raptor tail area revealed a 1mm fatigue crack on oem part BK 0047 tail unit housing (r).

the fine crack line exists in the corner root area and trailing edge of the arm extension and stand-off for part BK 0024 tail pitch control lever. by flexing the stand-off, the crack is apparent, which otherwise could not be flexed and seen if both l & r tail housing units were assembled.

throughout the logged hours, there was no visible signs of tail vibration, tail drive shaft and tail blades have been balanced, and the heli has not experienced any collision that would render the tail components inoperable.

currently, the r30 is overhauled and therefore unable to ascertain whether continued use of the this part will cause any flight malfunction. i kindly suggest that you might inspect your own equipment.
