i have a raptor 30v2 with a tt39 in it, it is brand new and i had my instructure set it up for me ,he set it up to hover at 3/4 throttle , it was flying fine until after the first gallon of fuel, now at full throttle it will only hover about 2 ft off the ground. could the pitch settings have changed somehow? i didn't change anything on the radio. do i need to lean it up a little or richen it up for more power? the motor is pretty much the same set-up as it came out of the box ( maybe 2-3 clicks leaner) my radio is a RD8000 if that makes any difference, and it has training gear on the heli thanks for any help Larry

Is the engine getting too hot? put your finger in the recess on the botton when it's been running for a few mins and see if you can hold your finger in there for 3-5 seconds. If you can't then the engine is too hot and it needs richening. Does it hover ok when you first start it, then get worse? meaning it hovers ok when cold?

nope, it's that way from the start ,it only started doing this when i started my 2nd gallon of fuel. i touched the bottom of the motor and don't seem hot. i'm running 15% cool power in it. my muffler did come loose once and i took the gasket all the way out, could that be doing it? thanks
