I think I will get the FReya and test it out. I can always sell it on Ebay if I don't like it. Atleast if I get the regular Freya I will have the extra money to buy better elecrics and a simulator. does anyone have a simulator for sale at a good price?

Beware of the Jamaican sensation.

The Freya is a good heli, it can easily be upgraded later on.

the stock freya is a great machine and if you
really want to learn on a 60 class machine,
then you'd be hard pressed to do better, particularly
for the price.

I would NOT recommend an XSpec as a first
machine.

Personally, if I were you, I'd get an Evo50 as
a first machine. Cheaper, simpler, burns
less fuel, shares many parts w/ a Freya, excellent
flying characteristics.

Thanks everyone for all your help. My auction ends in 15 mins. I think I will choose the Standard Freya and Just go with better electrics to stay within my budget. I think that if later on I feel the need to upgrade my heli I will do it then but for someone that has never flown before I think this will be a good beginer heli.

I am not sure what else I can tell you.

It is just as good or better than any std 60 class heli.

If that is your budget then get the freya. If you want to splurge get the spec.

Freyas are really good helis with Jeff Green backing them. You will not get better support than from him.

For a 60 class motor you can bolt it in and go fly.

I think the going price is $489 new now.

The new kits have a lot of different parts in them. (LG, decals, body mnts, etc)

only you can make the call.

Have fun with it!

Get a sim and practice, practice, practice.

Also, make sure you get someone to check it and trim it out for you.

If your LHS doesn't have the Standard Freya kit, contact Racing Devils out of Vancouver. They sell them for $499 US. It'll save you on customs and they ship very quickly.

Just ordered one from them and was happy with the transaction.
