Thanx for your input guys.
I guess you still get what ya pay for.
The Rappy's definately sound like a more quality helicopter. Serviceability will be a large factor in my final desision, as I will be returning back to New Zealand later in the year. From what i've learned, there are alot more Rappy's tearing up the blue back home, which will help as far as education and support goes.
Cheers boys & girls!

I have owned both... and I have to say that I liked the Raptor 30 a little better. It seemed to do aerobatics a little nicer than the Century Hawk. For instance, with the Raptor, a roll was a very clean, distinct roll. With the Hawk, a roll would turn into this nasty corkscrew type maneuver. Same thing when trying a traveling backflip with each. The Raptor performed it nicely, whereas the Hawk would end up rolling in the middle of the flip. Not sure what this was due to, but I thought the setups were equivalent?
