All - I am flying a YS 61 ST2 with Cool Power 30% (performance heli fuel) according to the label. This fuel is produces tons of smoke. If I lean the main needle, it goes lean but still smokes quite a bit. Is this a characteristic of this fuel specific fuel or is somthing wrong? I flew the green Cool Power 20% in my OS 32 and it smoked but nothing like this. I know the green 20% was all synthetic, so I wonder if this could be a factor? For the record, I am running an Enya #3 plug and head speeds of 1500, 1650 and 1750 with good performance and transition....

Perfectly normal......... With the YS's , you can't judge the needle setting by the amount of smoke........Do it by "sound" and engine performance......

Thanks for the info... Are there any other fuels that smoke less than the Cool Power 30%?

I understand that Wildcat smokes less, but I've never tried it.
