I was going to install an optical sensor sold by "Raptor Driver". I have been using this on my GV-1 without problems and wanted to
go optical with the TJ Pro.

I initially set the sensor using the GV-1 and secured it at a 97%
reading. When I plugged the optical into the TJ, it would not show a
reading. I notified Model Avionics and Paul stated that the sensor needed a modification and to ask Raymond. Raymons hasn't sent a reply.

Does anyone know what changes are needed to make the optical compatible with the TJ Pro?

I believe you need to remove one of the resistors. Someone here should know which one is needed and which isn't.

Disconnect (remove) the 3.9K resistor between the white and red lead.

Sorry for not responding, I've been out of town since 4/29. After I left LARKS I had some work to do in Houston and since I've been home I've not been getting home very early so I've not been online that much. Glad to see you got the info you needed.

Any questions, PM or email me.

thanks,
