I have bought a ball in swashplate and cnc collar, but I can't figure out how to get the top assembly off the main shaft to get to the swashplate and I am afraid of breaking it. Can anyone explain how to do this?

Thanks

There is a metal pin that goes thru the plastic and the main shaft just below the flybar. This holds the head on the shaft. Pull this pin out with long nose pliers, and the whole head will come off.

Ahh great, thank you, I saw that pin but didn't know if it was supposed to come out or not. On a side note I found out by accident a minute ago that the top part the blades attach to comes off the bearings it sits on,

Thanks again, I just finished installing my swashplate and collar, it all went together fine after taking that pin out. It's just a shame I already used up my batteries today.
