i finally found someone to help me set up my radio an airtronics rd6000 super.i had it set up all wrong, though it would fly it always was touchy and no real power.i thought i needed a bigger engine.now i have a nice linear curve and i hover at 3/4 stick instead of half stick.i put on mavrikk550 pro,s c/f and let me tell you this hawk rocks.i can,t believe the power i have in idle up1 now.running at 1800 rpm .this is so cool ,this hawk has never felt so good.i am into ff flight,i can spin it around both ways fast and slow.i can do funnels,i even had it up about 200 feet up in the air in 15mph winds.i am really happy just wish the weather would cooperate .people can bad mouth century if they wan,t but i think now that if your not setup proper nothing will fly right.thank's for listening to me///////

i asked about two months ago about pitch and throttle curves and got no responses, luckily i found someone from around my area to help.it seems that nobody wanted to respond.here is what i was told to do.
set collective stick to midpoint, collective servo horn is pointed straight up and all control arms are level, main blades at 0 pitch.now move collective stick so you can get -10 to +10,if you have to use your epa to adjust them so you get the total range required.you may need a longer servo horn if you can't get the -10 to +10.at this point 0 is middle stick position.now you know -5 is 25% and +5 is 75%now to set up all three curves .
normal -6,-3,0,+5,+10 pitch curve 0,15,30,60,100 throttle curve
to set collective curve on any radio set it up as follows20%,35%50%75%100% .this is for normal mode.
idle up 1 -6,-3,0,+5,+10 pitch 70,50,40,65,100 throttle curve
idle up 2 -10,-5,0,+5,+10 pitch 100,65,40,65,100.
normal mode seems to be o.k. but i love flying in idle up 1 the hawk just screems, when you hit the throttle as it is coming down from higher up from 3/4 throttle up it just lifts and takes right off.i feel so confident it is not funny.i was so unsure of myself until i did this.anyone who has a problem or question pleas p,m me i will be glad to help.
