I got help setting up my Futaba FF9 before my first flight.
After flying a couple of months I understand some of the settings.
The guy setting it up, said he did it so the Raptor would be "gentle".

But now I want it a little, should I say, meaner. But not to much
1. Rudder - the pirouetting rate is pretty slow. I tried a couple of stall turns, and one of them because of slow turn almost made my first crash! The ATV/e.point setting is on 70%.
I guess this is the setting I need to change?
Is 80% ok ?

2. Throttle respons
The raptor flies great, but the throttle seem to react slow.
I am not sure if this is the setting, but in D/R, Expontential the D/R is set on 100%, and the exponential is set for - 25%.
What should this setting be?

well, expo principle:
if you set negative expo, you will soften midsticks; this is, you will get most of the servo travel on stick ends
if you set positive expo, you will have very sensitive mid sticks; this is, most of the servo tarvel will be concentrated in that midstick area

+ on the FF9, you have those exp curves that show prety well what happens...
also you could take a spare servo and playing with expo on the concerned channel, compare servo travels... best way to understand for yourself

VT "slow&low"

I dont have an FF9 but I'd be suprised if
it let you put expo on the throttle channel if
I understand what you are trying to accomplish.

Take a closer look at your mechanical throttle
pushrod set first. Trying to fix most anything
on a helicopter 'electronically' is a loss when
you should be fixing things mechanically.

z11355, you are right!
There is no expo settings for the throttle channel.
Think I better look at the mechanic setup.
Thanks.
