I have an original RD6000 (Green lettering). I now see there is a Sport and Super version. What is the main differences? and is the original RD6000 any good for heli? (hopefully... that is why I originally bought it).

Also what servos are recommended for a Raptor 30 or 50?

Thanks

I think it's a model memory thing mainly - the sport has less memory and less features too. Does the sport even do heli's??

The RD 6000 cannot do CCPM, and has less model memory than an RD 6000 Super. However, it will work fine for a Raptor. I am using Hitec 5925 digitals in my Raptor 50, they work very well.

All the RD's have Heli programming. The regular and super are CCPM capable where as the sport is not. The regular and sport have a 4 model memory and the super has an 8 model memory. The sport has fewer mixing functions and 3 point throttle and pitch curves plus a few less other features. The regular RD 6000 which you have is fine for Helis and should take you a long way into learning curve. The RD 8000 is very similar, Heli wise, to the super.
