Well, I tried the hex adaptor and the male part on my starter keeps stripping, tried the cone with the rubber on the starter, i machined up the cone part that fits on the shaft of the heli, but i made it 4 to 5 inches long and i think it is to long, because i am getting alot of viberation in the heli, bolts are coming loose every flight, even lost the two that hold the landing gear on the front, last flight i noticed that one of the support rods that go from the landing gear to the tail boom was hanging down, broke off, landed it and the speacial M3x18 bolt that holds it to the boom support sheared right off. So i do have a problem and i think it is because of the cone i machined up.maybe to long,or not running true. So please tell me what you guys are using in your Fury Extreme with a YS91 engine to start them. What is the best. Thanks

I use the MA ProFlex starter with a standard 12v starter and 2 12v
gel cells for 12v.
No adapter needed and although it can be fragile, it will work well and last if used properly, needs a smooth clutch driver shaft to engage.
Also on the when I'm done flying for the day I run the fuel out and purge the motor at WOT a few times, this helps it start easy the next time out.
