Can't wait to get her in the air. Mechanics are being built, and the canopy is in the paint shop.

Got my ION

I received my ION serial # 0037 today. Anxious to start assembly. I checked for asembly manual which is on a CD ROM and noticed it was missing. So, I guess I wait some more for MA to send one out.

My kit came with a printed "text only" manual, and a printed diagram package.
There's a few omissions and mistakes in the manual, but I guess the Ion would typically be purchased by people who have built and flown other MA models, so no problem.
Just simple stuff like part numbers wrong for some screws, no mention of installing the tail take off etc etc.

So far, very high quality kit, everything fits just perfect.

BTW, I got the kit in the UK. Demand world wide seems so high that it's very difficult to find one.
Also, It's good to support the local importers, I know they always get bad press price wise, but I've never had anything but outstanding service from Motors and Rotors, and yes, I've purchased MA kits on import before now.

Spitz.
