American Army I play, Fun game pretty good for a free game. D/L take a long time if you dont have high speedmodem. Games around 650 meg to d/l. If you see me there im (Smegs909) Have around 19 honor points. Almost a Special Force player. But not there yet.

I played it when it first came out and had fun with it but recently i tried and can't play multiplayer games so I deleted it. I've been playing battlefield 1942 and battlefield vietnam 1942 is a lot better than bfv imo

Hi Deck,

I play this game also. It's pretty good game.
I just try not to hurt my teammates by shooting all over the place
or by throwing grenades. But there's always someone
who gets in front of you when you are shooting,
or run into the area where the grenade was just thrown. I guess
the player has to be careful for friendly fire,
which in sense is pretty realistic.

Best regards,

Alex

Awsome game, absolutely love it. If you have problems with it go download the latest version for free from their website.....get Special Forces qualified, so much more fun. Got any questions let me know.

I never got it to work at first either... When I built a new pc though with a fresh copy of XP Pro, I re-downloaded it and it worked fine.... It didn't like something I had in there before... but works fine now.

Man that first test is a bugger! I still haven't passed the first special forces test Did basic, advanced, paratrooper, and 1/2 way through medic though

the official site is http://www.americasarmy.com

you have to download it from some other site though, they give you the links there. I had to wait in line to download it for 30 min then it took almost 30 min to download via cable modem... BIG file

I tried the game out. When I run it the software attempts to connect to the internet - my firewall detects the attempt and prompts for response.

On two occasions I have allowed a outgoing rule to be created. On the first attempt my firewall blocked a trojan attack. On the second attempt, my firewall blocked a PortScan attack.

Is this software safe to use?

Cheers,

Nigel
