becouse i dont have enough room to set up both my gy601 & gv1 i need to get rid of one of the 2. the on off switch for the gv1, or remote gain for the gy601. i was thinking the remote gain in the 601. I would think once it is set your done. rather it would be nice to turn off the gv1 if i ever needed to. or just for adjustment reasons.

You can use the B/8 slot with a Y connector to make use of channel 8.
(As long as your transmitter is 8 channel or higher)

The servo plugs in one leg and the battery in the other.

8 channels is enough for you to do both.
