I just finished teaking my new CP Hummer. It definitely needs work before it runs smoothly. I took the head apart and dressed up the slots that the flybar pivot moves up and down in. I squeezed all the ball links and balanced the blades, flybar and tail. I dynamically balanced the head, flybar and paddles without the blades by trial and error; moving the flybar back and forth until I had the smoothest spin.
My setup is:
Astro 010 10 turn - 8 tooth pinion
3s 1200 E-tec Lipos
Hitec Electron receiver
3 HS55 servos
CC Micro 10 ESC
GWS ESC for tail
I am not into 3D yet but I can definitly cruise around at a pretty high rate of speed with this baby. I will try a loop when my spares get here.
There is not much negative pitch with the stock mainshaft collar. I am going to see if the one from my Picolo will fit so the swash will go a little lower.
All in all, not bad for $100. All of the gear came out of my Piccolo Pro. I got tired of the parts prices for that one. You guys seen the prices for the CP parts on the Century site? They look good to me!
