Hi guys,
I have a question about the little os32 I have ran about 2 full gallons of fuel through it but it still wants to be rich almost 2 full turns out, anything leaner and it two cycles and gets hot. Maybe its me, Is almost two turns out about the standard for the os 32? will it lean more after maybe 4 gallons? The Idle is rich but the power at hover( 50% to 100%) throttle is very good should I try to go in a half turn in the low side or will that lean the (50%) hover. because the hover at 50 to 60% is so good! Thanks for your help. Frank

Try the low needle that is hidden in the throttle arm barrel. It is sensitive.

Your idle and mid-throttle range fuel mixture is mostly controlled by the idle mixture adjustment that RCHELIFANATIC mentioned. Your needle valve has almost no effect on hover. If you change your idle mixture, do so in increments of 1/16 to 1/8 turns (22 to 45) degrees. Clockwise is leaner. Test inbetween adjustments. Also, the OS32 SX-H manual has a very detailed procedure for adjusting your fuel mixture on a heli.

i just did mine and what a difference it makes. adjust the low needle till it sounds gurgly but strong, then you can work on your high speed needle. i found that i had to move the low needle several times to get it just right with the high speed needle.

man it runs the best it ever has now. it took me 2 tanks of fuel to get it just right. remember that every adjustment you make you should test fly it and always make small adjustments.

good luck let us know how it goes.
