Ok, I was outside in the backyard trying to hover when all of a sudden my HB went into a 360 spin. Brought it down and the tail rotor kept spinning.
It appears that the motor gear came off and is lost forever in my backyard.

My question is where do I find replacements?
Or should I try to locate a DF type motor that would save the blades?
Thanks
Ron

just look for pinions that match the diameter of your motor shaft.

I found that Century sells them.

I wonder if I can get them locally as I am headed out of town again and wanted to take the HB with me.
Can anyone tell me what size / type to get?

Thanks
Ron

Thanks Mark,
I will keep them in mind next time.
I just went and bought a pinion gear and it cost me $126.00

Actually, Tom at Bruckner Hobbies in White Plains, NY gave me a gear, but I also picked up a Airwolf fuse w/mechanics and some crash kit parts.

Perty in the box ...huh

lol. don't even go there.
Tom was selling the daylights out of the CP's.
But I had the airwolf inmind when I was in his store 2 weeks ago.
I am trying to figure how I am going to get 2 heli's on the plane now. I had 1 packed in the luggage. But 2?
