i'm looking to buy brushless motor and esc for my Voyager E

what combination would be the best? without burning esc.. i'm looking to use 7 ~ 10 cells.. depending on limit on esc..

currently i use stock setup..

A Castle Creations Phoenix-45 (45 amp 5-16cells) or the Kontronik Jazz 40-6-18 (40 amp 6-18 cells) will work fine and both controllers are generally held in high regard. I've never used a Hacker speed control but too many people say the CC or Kontronik works better.

The Castle is cheaper but both will work with a Hacker motor. Which by the way, is arguably the best motor.

OK, as posted above, the Hacker C40-8L on a 10 cell battery or a 3s LiPO pack and a 17t pinion. If you already have an 8 cell pack, the Hacker will work but you'll need an 18t pinion. As for ESC's, I use the Hacker Heli-Master 40-3p and am very satisfied. Others that are also considered good are the Castle Creations series (Phoenix 45?) as well as the Kontronics and Schulze units. The best source I know of for the Hacker motor/ ESC combo is Aircraft World. They are located in Japan, but got me my system in 4 days door to door and the shipping was approx $12.50.
