I plan on running seperates with a pixie7p and pixie20p with a gy240 gyro, here is how I think it gets setup please correct me if I am wrong

the wires from the tail motor conncet to my pixie7p ESC then the ESC plugs into the gyro then the gyro plugs into the receiver and the other 2 wires from the pixie7p connect to the battery

the wires from the main motor connect to my pixie20p and then the ESC plugs into the receiver and then the 2 other wires connect to the battery

if this is correct or incorrect please let me know, I would like to finish my CP tonight so I can fly

thanks for any help that is given

You are correct, it should be connected just like you described.

why would I have to cut the positive wire on the ESC to the gyro?

I take it you are speaking of the red wire, which also disables the BEC according to the instructions, I hope this is correct.

I have both battery lines from the ESC's running to the battery, since I am doing this do I still need to plug the battery into the receiver???? I think not, it seems to provide power to everything that way.
