re help needed

hi
thanks for the reply.
the info i need is for the pitch and throttle curves but someone told me the engine may be leaning out not a lot of folks dont seem to know much about the irvine heli engine but the amount of smoke coming out of it would make james bond envious

thanks
jon jordan.

That makes us two. I will post my settings as well this evening as soon as I will go back home. To help us a little can you post your current settings?

Here are my curves for my 30 as promised.

The engine is a TT39 with Hattory muffler and not an Irvine so just use them as a guideline. They work great for me.

Throttle curve 19,0%, 33,0%, 39,0%, 47,0%, 58,0%, 74,0%, 100,0%
Pitch curve 34,0%, INH, INH, 70,0%, INH, INH, 93,0%.

My pitch is -4, +4, +9 in normal.

Don't know much on Irvine engines as well. You better make a search here on how others are setting their needles.

Hope this helps.

I envy you guys !!

Lucky folks.... you already have the 9x !!! Please post your likes and dislikes of the radio. I think we are scheduled to get it in the US in October 2004, so it will give me plenty of time to decide if I want one !

Have fun, stay safe !

Cheers,
Rob

Jon I am glad it worked. Happy flying

Hotshot Charlie so far no dislikes from me for this great radio. It should be a guidline for all other radio makers on how simple programming is done. So far I haven't open the manual, everything is so simple that even a total newbie can program this radio.

A friend of mine gave his PCM 10SX and bought 9X as well. He is very happy also.

Why waiting to be imported and not buying now from Cyberheli. Their prices are great and they have all frequencies and modes available (even if you can select from the s/w the mode you prefer and assign the switches as you like).

Honestly I don't know why US distributor is not importing this radio there. The BS that their saying that they want to upgrade the software is not valid. The s/w is state of the art and I don't see what extra features can they add.
