Yeah, yeah, ......I know every ones got one, but I'm currently attempting to set up the control system on my new BenzinCS.

I'm using JR servo's and transmitter, and the new Helitronics mixer system. Now the questions...............

1. With regard to servo centering, Popular thoughts are to mount the servo arms AT 90deg. to the servo without using sub-trims. But what else would you use the sub-trims for but minor adjustments to a mechanical set-up?

2. Now which 'centering' feature should I use, the sub-trims on the transmitter or the 'Digital Servo Centering' feature on the Helitronics Mixer?

3. I would also like to see some pictures of 'finished' setup's with regard to servo link arrangement, ie. vertical/slanted, etc., and finally.........

4. A workable throttle linkage setup, preferably above the base plate.

I have referenced many of the sites on these issues, but I find the information either dated or not applicable to what I'm trying to achieve.

Thank you all for your time on this.

Why would you whant to set upa a helitronix mixer on your benzine? Unless you are flying a multi-bladed head. If you set up your radio to use the helitronix dont use subtrim, use the servo centering function.
Which radio are you going to use?

Thank you,

Felipe, I forgot to mention the addition of a 4-blade head.

And, Jack.......I'm not sure of the 'spacer' you speak of. I'm using servo arms that give me just over 17mm radius.

Tony,

When using the mixer, the only possible way to electronically center a servo is to use the digital servo centering capability of the mixer. You cannot do this through the transmitter sub-trim, because there is not a 1:1 mapping from a transmitter channel to a "single servo". Instead, a single channel on your transmitter now controls an entire axis, which moves 2 or more servos simultaneously. The digital servo centering feature of the mixer lets you dial in the trim for each servo individually, instead of on a per axis basis.

Regards,
Joel-
