What do you get with the 20.00 or 25.00 membership? I was member 352 back in the early 90's and got of the hobby to watch my kids grow up. Back then they sent the news letter and we got Rotary magazine [early stages]for a while until some problems accured and then it was just the news letter.
I have thought about joining again and was wondering what you get for the fee no a days.

Thanks for any answers to this.

Well i paid my $20.00 renewal fee this year at the Toledo show so I guess I don't have any room to gripe as I knew going in that IRCHA has it problems.
I was told by a couple of the folks at the IRCHA booth that the organization is trying to make a turn around. That remains to be seen.
What I really found interesting is I had to stand at the booth for several minutes before anybody even said hi or screw you or anything . And it was not like they where busy. In fact I was the only person standing in front of there booth.
So we will see I didn't have to give them my money but I did so we will see.

I've been a member since '96. Why? I don't know.... Other than the fact that the sponsor the Jamboree I really don't see any other benefits that they provide. I support IRCHA since it's the only voice we have.

PPP program

I paid IRCHA for their PPP program, nothing more...allot of work was put into it and their levels flight are pretty recognized by pilots....

BUT...the PPP level completion cards they send out are unlaminated business cards from wallmart, poor quality...

They used to give out pins and patches, none of which has ever been seen or sent...4 months ago they said it was work in progress....still waiting!

still it feels pretty good to complete PPP levels...

I have been a member for the past several years.... They are a small group that does keep close contact with the ama in reguards to helis.

Mostly, they are volunters that do this for the enjoyment of the hobby.

I will continue to support them for the price of a gallon or two of fuel.
