Hi, I'm looking to buy the JR Voyager IMZ kit only, but I may consider one with an engine. This needs to be the Japanese version that includes the driven tail, metal head/tailbox, FRP canopy, etc.....

Also, as stated, I'm not looking for an already built one. I am just looking for the KIT ONLY.

Thanks,
Chris

TurboStew, I actually already own the US version of the Voyager with the IMZ RV-50S engine and it is a killer machine! I love it so much I want another but this time I want to get the Japanese version that adds the nice stuff like metal head/tail, way nicer canopy, carbon side frames..

And you are more than welcome to check it out... PM me with your phone # and we can meet up.

IMZ

Well, I would only be interested in the airframe and engine/muffler. I assume you also have the manual with those Japanese part #'s? Also, why are you going to sell it and what is it's condition?

sultan68 and HELIBRITE,

I need to tell you fellas what me and my buddy Steve are up to. I am an engineer who also owns a CNC bridgeport mill. We are morphing a OS 70, Vigor fan, Vigor shroud, and Vigor clutch with a Voyager by making custom carbon frames for the voyager. OS70 engine will be the power, with 50 size weight. We are tired of gettin ripped off by the 5000 ft altitude. Let It Eat!

I bought mine through Cyberheli, it's the one HELIBRITE now owns. Great service and a full line of parts available their also. Make sure you go with the IMZ RV-50 also for a motor, very powerful and smooth....

That helicopter is kind of expensive. Their charging $999.99 plus shipping for the kit with IMZ RV-50S engine. Anyway, here is the link to order one. https://www.cyberheli.com/shop-prod...p?ProductID=331

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Putting an OS70 into the Voyager or IMZ is a bad deal. Been there done that,

I used the K&S Super 6 kit (nonw discontinued) and a MC50 head on my Voyager, the spindle will only stand 2 or 3 full power climb outs, it is way too powerful to be flown safely.

Watch out

Yea, but have you done it 5000 ft. We loose 20% horsepower right away. I'm just trying to get it back to sea level specs plus a tad.

What exactly failed with the head? Since you have been there and done that, you are a good source of info. What would you beef up? Does the IM50 head have the wimpy 5mm axle?

I looked at that website and they don't have the JR Voyager 50 IMZ listed? They only had the Sylphide 50 and the Voyager 30. I did a search on that site and it says they don't have that kit? Where did you see that price from?

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick
