Thought I should spread this to a wider audience of fellow gassers...

Well, it sat for a bit during my most recent 6 month adventure...

Never had the heart to sell it... And sure glad I didn't now.

Maybe shoot me a super secret email and tell me what you're thinking with these motors...

In any case, I'm back at wedging an MVVS 2.15 Gas in something...

Take care Bill.

Well, I got mine through my connections, but Horizon Hobby should be getting them in soon for general sale...

Not sure what the current date is, last I heard was early-mid May.

Let's revive this thread...

As I've been working on my test motor, I've skirted the heck out of the piston but she's still a little heavy on the top.

I've been hanging the crank and balancing for 1/2 the piston weight which seems to work well.

Quite a bit smoother now.

The ceramic piston has been going well, and it brings the balance in line a lot more. So far with this mod, and some head/case machining and electronic ignition I've got my Bergen down to 10 pounds 9 ounces dry!

More testing next weekend to see how she holds up... Then I'll focus on the MVVS 2.15 conversion with Hirobo mechanics.

Should be able to hit 12 pounds and 40cc!
