I cooked the muffler overnight with low heat. The exhaust diverter even held up during the cooking.

With the case closed the landing gear has over 3-1/2 inches to spare.

Got the hot knife and foam form the "Foam Company" down the street. They prefab the tons of packaging inserts. Tomorrow I am going to start custom cutting and hot gluing the soft and hard foam to fit. The harder high density foam will be used for the heavy stress points.

I bought a case on ebay for a Minolta Medical camera of some sort. It came with some of that high density stuff. It has just sat here for 2 years because I don't know how to cut it.

What are the high stress points? If you dont mind me asking
What I mean is that I do not want the canopy taking too much stress. So I will use the stronger foam at points other than the canopy.

I will take photos and show the results tomorrow.

I read that with normal foam the best is to use a electric knife (like for turkey carving), but the high density stuff was too tough.
