GREAT STATE OF TEXAS!!

My Posts: All  Forum  Topic

i got the x-spec up and running and one problem that i can't figure out... it seems that when i give it cycle imput greater than just correcting the hover, it gets the shakes, and sort of just wabbles and then settles down once it reaches a stable hover???? so, what do ya think is wrong?

thanks,
pepper

it sounds like your head speed is a little low

That should be high enough. It could be that your blades are too tight in the grips or one is tighter than the other.

1700 is plenty of head speed.

What blades are you using?
What dampeners?
What collective Pitch servo?
Are your blades too tight?

Augusto.

or it could be possible that your dampeners just need a little running in.

You may want something a little beefier on the collective. A few poeple have stripped them in flight

Blades might be too tight then. If it had been wobbling at low head speeds like at the end of an auto it would most likely be the dampeners.

The 9252 maybe a little too weak for the collective pitch BTW. I've heard it break in flight due to the load.

Augusto.

headspeed

I had the same thing when I was tweaking my gov. It was round 1700 to 1750 and I had the shakes. Cranked it up and they were gone.
