Well I bought a Futaba 149DP receiver from I3DM 5 weeks ago, he said he shipped it airmail (so I am thinking 2 weeks max) and sent me a Israel tracking number that I can't read. Well it hasn't showed up, so if someone finds it, please email me !

Thank you

Sorry...

That is WHY I don't buy private from overseas. Got burnt once. Eventhough it is 50% cheaper, it still post a greater risk than buying from the US. Saving $10-20 over $2000 already spent and take that risk is not exactly smart. Good luck.

Israel shipping

I traded servos with user DNTS a few months ago. He is located in Israel. We both cross-shipped via airmail. He got his in 1 week, I got mine in 8 days. Not bad at all!
And he was a good-person to deal with too!!

I3DM

I bought a R149DP from I3DM about a month ago. If I remember right, it took a little over 2 weeks. He had sent me the tracking number and a Hebrew site. There is an English version of the site, but the tracking part of it only comes up in Hebrew. I asked him to translate it for me. He said it just says when the package was shipped. I think it is more of a confirmation number than a tracking number. Hang in there. I'm sure it will get to you soon. If you go the tracking number, I can't imagine you won't get what you paid for.

Receiver

Well, I just got it today. The shipping lable was backwards, The "To:" and the "From" was backwards so that might have slowed it down alittle. Box was a little beat up and had a 2 inch hole in it, (I don't think it was IM3D fault) so I was suprized it was still in the box.
It took a total of 44 days to get here.

J_DOGG... This one belongs in the "go figure" tray. The 2 inches hole must have been from the package getting shot while crossing borders... I have dealt with the 5 continents to this day, and nothing suprises me anymore - I ordered 2 packages from Rick's during the last month. Both went out EMS - express (for alot of extra $$$). One took 14!!! days to get here. The other got here after just three... and the Tower Hobbies standard airmail beats them all with a 2 days trip... as long as there are people involved in the shipping process - you can never know and especially if it's some sort of governmental service like USPS and our local postal services.
As long as you got your receiver ok - you are doing just fine, buddy.
Does it say what date the package arrived in the US? they sometimes stamp the customs arrival date.. would be interesting to know where the holdup occured.

I don't know what the date it, but I will check it. I am guessing the same with the hole in it. It happens, just ask UPS, they can tear up some tuff boxes !

I did tell Lior that its not his fault and its all in the shipping companys and I posted his name on the "good guys" list.

I was really happy after I seen the hole and found the receiver in the box. I order from Heli-Kraft, shipped EMS and received the same thing from them, boxes with holes and tears, so we all know how that happen.

I would buy from I3DM again, he is a good guy to deal with.....
