I am now on my third gallon of fuel with my Concept 30 and getting where I can tail in hover pretty well, even to the height of 10', however, I am getting a slight vertical tail vibration. I just moves up and down at about main rotor speed, about 1/4 to 1/2 inches. The C30 holds a heading fine and hovers well. I weighed the main rotor blades and they seem fine. Main blade tracking is right on. Tail rotor looks fine. I am now at a loss as to what to check next and need some expert help here. By the way, I have never crashed or had any real hard landings. The C30 flew smoother in the past, but I cannot figure out what changed. Any help would be very much appreciated

Try a little more or less head speed at hover...Possibly replace the dampners in the head. They get sloppy pretty quick.I would think that if it was dampners, the tracking would be a little off.A hard landing could have bent the main shaft.....Your motor mixture might just be a little off.

Check your mixture adjustment. I believe a too rich setting will cause vertical movement/vibration in the tail.

Thanks, guys...I did remember one thing that changed and that was the engine mixture. I will adjust that just a little leaner and see what happens.
