Ive got a new raptor 50 with a new os50 and have had it setup and its been running fine by the way its now had a gallon of fuel put though it coolpower 10%

But lastnight while hovering the headspeed went nuts it seem to shoot up so i put it down and then checked the temp by putting finget in the bottom of engine and it was red hot

i richen it a bit and it went fine again but sounded a little rough i checked the temp and it was cold i richened it by 1 click and again when hovering the head speed shot up and went crazy but i did notice that the heli didnt go up in the air witch i would of thought it would do but dont no to much about this so all help from experienced flyers would be appreciated cheers Larry

If its picking up headspeed alot and not rising then yes it could be that the clutch is slipping. certainly worth taking the engine and clutch out to have a look.
Check all fuel lines for any cracks or splits, including the clunk line in the tank.
How far out is your main needle on the engine, see how many turns it takes to go all the way in ?
What pitch do you have on the blades when your transmitter stick is at hover position ?

Ryan.
