I just installed a YS91 and its my first experience with a YS. I have the fuel system installed as shown in the directions. I was just wondering if any of you have your own way of hooking up the fuel system that works better.

What's up with your two forward links on your swashplate? They appear to be in the wrong location on your swashplate because your bellcranks seem to be at almost 90 degrees, but your links are both going too far aft.

Maybe it's just the picture, but something doesn't look right there.

Hey Corey,

Why have you put velcro around your 601 sensor?! This will transmitt vibrations to it and reduce your gyro performance. Now I don't believe you want to do that.

Oh yes he does wanna do that if using the Futaba gyro tape.
That double sided tape fails in a very short time, I thought it was a bad idea until I learned the hard way !! Luckily I was able to save the model from damage
And I dont use Futabe double sided tape anymore !!

Ryan.

exactly, Dokey... I don't believe he wanted to do that.

I use other double sided padded tape... but I definately wouldn't secure it with velcro.

i know about the swashplate links. They are not like that now.

Horacio, before i went to see todd, i only had 2 lines. One going from the crankcase, straight to the tank. the other going from the carb, straight to the tank. I sometimes maybe had a T filter thing...Plus, i NEVER said i did it all right the first time...please tell me where if i did. Im SOOOO sorry for giving some simple tips. Didnt know i should say everything i learned was from todd because todd is the master of everything right? Also, i never said you must run it the way todd does...Im just suggesting it because i found it to be very simple.

many other people put the velcro tape around the sensor etc...Im sorry if i want to keep it on just incase the tape becomes un sticky. How do you even know if todd was the first one who decided to put velcro around everything??? Because it sure sounds like your saying he was.

One more thing about the velcro, IT COMES WITH THE KIT so WHY not use it????
