I'm waiting too.

oat,

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm contemplating of buying a 9z but the rumors keep holding me back. Maybe somebody from Japan might confirm this rumor. There is going to be a big hobby show in Japan this May, Shizuoka but I'm not sure. I'll have to wait Jason Chan's report on the hobby show. If they don't show anything in there, maybe we have to wait till next year.

If I 'm not wrong someone told me before it will be on next year launch ( End Of The Year ) So I think the product should be round the year after( 2006 ) let me know if I ' m wrong.

HI! Oat,

10X is a very good and top of the line controller in Jr. And everything is so clear cut to bring you to the manual that you want. Futaba 9Z in the other hand is abit more better then 10X, because 9Z got so many condition to choose for exp: gyro gain condition, hovering condition, 3D flight condition and so on........

If I 'm going to wait for the next 2 year just to get the new Futaba Tx, By the time it might be more expensive then the 9Z why not get the 9Z at this time seen the rumors is flying round there might be a offer or ppls selling off theirs and wait for the new Tx to come. Well for me I did that sell off my 9C and get the 9Z at a very good price.

Just get the new RD 8000 for about 300 bucks with good high torque servos and a PCM reciever. Then buy a good helicopter with the change. You will be miles ahead of the game, right from the start.

Incedently, the power companies are going full steam ahead with the broadband WIFI on the power lines. They just put it in some Penna. markets. If it really will cause harmonics on many of the projected freq's. as touted, including RC bands, we are going to be using these radio systems for wheel chocks.

I have no idea if there broadband is actually going to affect the projected radio bands once they are full up and running. If not no big deal, if so it could actually produce a very big problem for the RC systems of today. Something to consider if in fact this new service produces the interference that is projected. Just an after thought.

Anyone in the Allentown area of Penna. have any feedback concerning the new power company broadband service? They just introduced it to this area recently. Any adverse affects to the models? Any unusual radio glitches experienced recently, or any strange PCM lockouts in the Allentown Penna. area? Thanks for the input.

Just buy the 9Z, if you constantly wait for the next best thing, you'll never get one.

Get the 9Z, you won't be sorry (once you've come to terms with how it works).
