Does anybody know the Output of these engines? How does it compare to the OS 70SZh?

the ys series with the pump allows steadier fuel pressure allowing for steadier and smoother transitions throughout the entire power range. havn't heard any problems with the engine compared to the os's and tt engines. not sure about power comparison though. anybody know??????

YS 60 and OS 60 make about the same power. However, the YS will not run with a tuned pipe due to the pressurized fuel system. The OS turns into a fire breathing dragon with a tuned pipe on it, but will only run at 1 rpm setting. I personally fly a YS 61 and a performance specialties semi-tuned muffler designed for the YS80 and it seems to be a good power combo. I just sold my OS 60 and I have a MP1 with left and right headers and mounting bracket if you decide to go the OS route. The MP1 will not work on the YS though... The YS had a longer druation on the exhaust which basically means that it runs way too rich with a fully tuned pipe on it. The OS .61SXH-WC has a shorter exhaust duration and runs awesome with the tuned pipe. You can estimate that the OS will run at 16,000 rpm on the pipe and then figure out what your head speed will be based on your gear ratio. Also, you won't need a governor with a MP1.
